2. What the website currently uses
The public yachtingplanet.eu website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, traffic sources and interactions only after you select “Accept analytics”. Before consent, the Google tag is not loaded and no analytics data is sent to Google. Language is passed in the page URL, so it does not require a cookie.

3. When consent is required
Consent is not required for a cookie whose sole purpose is to transmit information over a network or provide a service explicitly requested by the user. Google Analytics is not necessary for the website to function, so we request consent before loading it.
Analytics remains disabled until you take affirmative action. “Accept analytics” and “Reject analytics” are equally accessible on the first layer, no optional choice is pre-selected, and you can withdraw consent at any time through “Cookie settings” in the website footer.
4. Is consent a one-time choice
There is no universal rule that consent is given once and lasts forever. 6. Managing cookies
You can inspect, block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can change your analytics choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the website footer. Withdrawing consent disables Google Analytics and removes the website-accessible _ga cookies. Your choice lasts for 6 months, after which we ask again.
