Tipping on Tribute: The 10% service charge is a standard inclusion in most tourism services in Ecuador. However, it is not included in our rates, as tips are optional. We provide a tipping guidelines:

Tribute: Guides: USD 40 per day, per guest (to be shared between the two guides) Crew: USD 35 per day, per guest (for a crew consisting of 12 members)

Please consider these tipping guidelines as merely suggestions. All gratuities are at the personal discretion of the traveller, and the quality of service should be the primary determinant of the tip amount. Tipping is a voluntary practice, and your travellers should never feel uncomfortable about it. If the service is not found satisfactory, tips should reflect that. If the service is outstanding, tips could be more generous. Additionally, if a particular crew member stands out, travellers can give them an extra gratuity directly.
