Different decks, different ways of living aboard
Galeon is a Polish shipyard founded in 1982. Its motor-yacht families differ in roof design and the role of the upper deck: Skydeck is not the same arrangement as a traditional flybridge. The catalogue includes Galia boats alongside the 430 Skydeck and larger Fly models. Check the particular model's cabins, movement between decks and outdoor lounge areas, because the same builder's badge does not mean the same size or specification.
What the reviewers found
BoatTEST's inspection of the 430 Skydeck describes reconfigurable cockpit furniture, a small upper helm deck and three cabins. The publication explicitly states that it did not sea-test the model; the performance figures shown were manufacturer data. Its inspection findings must not become a promise of speed or reliability across all Galeon models.

Before you charter
What is bareboat charter?
You charter the boat and provide your own suitably qualified skipper and crew. Qualification requirements vary by boat, operator and sailing area. We help check your documents and the charter terms for your chosen boat.
What will your charter cost?
The search price is the boat's charter price. The boat page lists known mandatory charges, optional extras and a separate security deposit. Review the complete offer for your dates; any costs still awaiting confirmation must be checked before booking.
How does a charter request work?
- Choose your dates, departure base and boat.
- Review the charter price, charges, deposit and qualification requirements.
- Send your request. Yachting Planet checks availability and terms before confirming the charter.
