From Bravoure to Deluxe
De Drait's shipyard website presents the Bravoure, Deluxe and Advantage motor-boat families and custom construction. Our catalogue label also includes other model names, so the brand alone does not define size or layout. For canal trips, compare the selected boat's draft, air draft and cabin numbers against your route. The Deluxe 42 and Bravoure 34 are not alternatives of equal size: start with the actual boat that suits your crew.
What the reviewers found
In an April 2024 Boataround review of the Deluxe 42 Drait 116, a customer praised marina staff and facilities but reported heating, engine-cooling and starting problems. This is one customer's experience of a particular hire boat, not a test of the entire manufacturer; it does not establish that boat's current condition.

Before you charter
What is bareboat charter?
You charter the boat and provide your own suitably qualified skipper and crew. Qualification requirements vary by boat, operator and sailing area. We help check your documents and the charter terms for your chosen boat.
What will your charter cost?
The search price is the boat's charter price. The boat page lists known mandatory charges, optional extras and a separate security deposit. Review the complete offer for your dates; any costs still awaiting confirmation must be checked before booking.
How does a charter request work?
- Choose your dates, departure base and boat.
- Review the charter price, charges, deposit and qualification requirements.
- Send your request. Yachting Planet checks availability and terms before confirming the charter.
