There is more to an Oceanis version than its model number
The Beneteau Oceanis 46.1 is a Pascal Conq-designed sailing yacht with a deck and interior by Nauta. Manufacturer documentation lists different cabin layouts, drafts and rig options; the First Line version has a different sail area and keel. These distinctions matter when comparing charter boats: the Oceanis name does not mean identical sails or cabin numbers. Alongside the 46.1, our catalogue includes the 51.1 and 40.1, allowing you to compare both space and the equipment of a particular boat.
What the reviewers found
In his SAIL test, Adam Cort highlighted the Oceanis 46.1's practical cockpit and easy sail handling. The test boat had electric winches and a Code 0, and conditions were light. These impressions do not establish the features of every charter configuration or its behaviour in demanding offshore conditions.
