Aquila Yachts

A day catamaran or a cabin yacht?

Aquila Sport and Yacht series serve different kinds of time on the water. Compare the catalogue's open 32 Sport with other day boats, and the 42, 50 or 54 Yacht by living spaces and cabin plans. Twin hulls alone do not tell you how many people can sleep comfortably or what fuel consumption will be. Check the actual catamaran's intended use, engines, berths and proposed route before choosing; a larger model's review does not replace these particulars.

What the reviewers found

In his 2022 Motor Boat & Yachting test of the Aquila 32 Sport, Alex Smith highlighted deck space from its twin hulls and a flexible open-boat layout. The example tested had twin 300hp Mercury outboards. This assessment concerns the 32 Sport and cannot be applied directly to cabins or consumption on larger Yacht models.

Before you charter

What is bareboat charter?

You charter the boat and provide your own suitably qualified skipper and crew. Qualification requirements vary by boat, operator and sailing area. We help check your documents and the charter terms for your chosen boat.

What will your charter cost?

The search price is the boat's charter price. The boat page lists known mandatory charges, optional extras and a separate security deposit. Review the complete offer for your dates; any costs still awaiting confirmation must be checked before booking.

How does a charter request work?

  1. Choose your dates, departure base and boat.
  2. Review the charter price, charges, deposit and qualification requirements.
  3. Send your request. Yachting Planet checks availability and terms before confirming the charter.
